Pasture raised hens are grass-fed and have the freedom to roam in pastures wherever they please. Their diet consists mostly of insects, grass, or other natural products they find while pecking and scratching around. Occasionally, it will be supplemented with a feed made of all natural grains. This supplemental feed contains no antibiotics, animal by-products or added hormones to keep our hens healthy and happy.

Pasture raised hens have been shown to produce eggs with a significant increase in vitamin E. Increasing the nutritional value of this already delicious source of quality protein. Hens are raised in small flocks on local farms. The eggs are then hand gathered from the nest ensuring the highest amount of care goes into each dozen.
